About Rachel Plummer

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals move forward from lasting effects of childhood trauma and PTSD. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and restorative space where clients are empowered to begin healing.

Rachel earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as a child and family therapist supporting survivors of child sexual abuse, and as a suicide and self-harm interventionist.

At Ascend Wellness, Rachel works with adolescents (age 8+), teens, and adults of all ages who are navigating challenging life transitions, experiencing PTSD symptoms, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

Rachel’s therapeutic style is authentic, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change.

Rachel is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT to effectively reduce symptoms and support long-term mental wellness.
