Amanda Stuart

Helping people has been a thread throughout my life, from my first career teaching middle and high school social studies to becoming a nurse. I’ve worked in critical care and emergency nursing and eventually became a travel nurse, caring for patients from California to New York City—including at Coney Island Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m also a lifelong learner with degrees spanning business, education, and nursing, and I plan to continue my nursing education with a focus on holistic, restorative care.

I came to Northwest Arkansas to be closer to family and found Ascend along the way. I love being part of a team that approaches wellness differently and allows me to continue doing what drew me to nursing in the first place: caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Outside of work, family is at the center of my world. I’m a mom of two sons and a very proud grandmother.
