Amanda Stuart

Amanda is a NWA transplant from the most southwest portion of the beautiful state of Arkansas. From a young age Amanda has loved to help others. She grew spending most summers on Lake Greeson with her family. Amanda also enjoyed dance, ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics and cheering through her school years. Upon graduation Amanda began her college journey that has now spanned over 30 years and holding an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration; a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Teacher Certification; a Master’s Degree in Education Administration; a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and will begin her journey towards a Master’s of Nursing Science to eventually open her holsitic restorative spa.

Amanda moved to NWA after life changes to be closer to her son and grandson. She is the mother of two sons ages 27 & 16, a daughter in law, one grandson that is almost 3 and another due in September. She has one sister and a brother in law who live back home as well as her Dad and Mom. Amanda has had an adventurous life that transitioned from teaching middle and high school Social Studies to nursing. Amanda’s desire to become a nurse comes from her innate desire to help others and be a staple in peoples most vulnerable times in their lives as well as watching her grandmother fall ill. Amanda moved from being a CVICU RN to an Emergency Room RN over her years. Amanda eventually left her home hospital to begin her travel nursing journey that took her anywhere from California to New York City. Amanda was one of the first 3000 RN’s to arrive in NYC during the pandemic. Amanda was due to get married in May of 2020 but paused that wedding due to the social distancing rules during that time. In doing so the company called Krucial Staffing Amanda was with on her NYC contract found out about Amanda having to reschedule her wedding and shared that information with some of the media broadcasting the pandemic. One evening after a very emotional day at Coney Island Hospital where she was stationed Amanda entered the bus to be approached and surprised by the Krucial staff and a representative from People magazine offering to throw Amanda an impromptu wedding in Times Square that had been approved by the governor. A few day later Amanda was marrying at the red steps alongside her family, coworkers (who served as the wedding party) and the NYC Fire Department. Unfortunately that marriage did not last and Amanda and her youngest son moved to NWA.

Initially Amanda went to work for Northwest Emergency Room at the Centerton location. She served there for 2 years. Due to being a single mother and the trying schedule of 12 hour shifts Amanda began searching for a M-F position that would afford her the opportunity to attend her youngest sons high school baseball games at Har-Ber. In doing so she found Ascend Wellness. She joined us in February this year and has thoroughly enjoyed helping to fulfill the vision for our clients.
